3M designs, formulates, and manufactures Scotchgard Paint Protection Film for optimum performance and durability. The 3M commitment to quality is the foundation for the warranty coverage we provide.
What is covered? 3M warrants Scotchgard Paint Protection Film will be free of defects in materials and manufacture--including yellowing, bubbling, or cracking--for five (5) years from date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accident, misapplication, or ordinary wear, nor does it apply to dents caused by physical impact of rocks or road debris.
Making a Warranty Claim: To make a claim under this warranty, simply contact 3M at 1-800-643-0955. YOU MUST RETAIN YOUR WARRANTY CARD TO VALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY. 3M will direct you to an installer selected by 3M to have your Scotchgard Paint Protection Film inspected and, if your claim is covered by this Warranty, 3M will have the installer remove the old and reapply new Scotchgard Paint Protection Film.

XPEL™ Paint Protection Film Warranty
XPEL Technologies Corp. warrants XPEL Protection Film to be free of any manufacturing or workmanship defects for seven (7) years from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage to XPEL Protection Film caused by erroneous application, accidents or collisions, intentional misuse or ordinary wear, nor damage, dents or chips to the protected surface or film caused by impact of rocks or any other debris. XPEL will replace any film that does not meet this warranty. The replacement of damaged film is the exclusive remedy; liability does not extend to any other damages, incidental, consequential or otherwise.

What is Covered by This Limited Warranty?
We, XPEL Technologies Corp., warrant to you, the original purchaser of any X-Pel™ Headlight Protection Products that are installed on the factory installed lenses of your vehicle, that such products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, including, for example, yellowing, cracking, or peeling.
What is Not Covered by This Limited Warranty?
This limited warranty does not cover problems with a warranted product caused by normal wear and tear. It also does not cover problems with a warranted product resulting from external causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, collision, alteration, negligence, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, natural disaster, or other acts of god. Moreover, it does not cover any problems resulting from a usage of a warranted product that is not in accordance with product instructions or resulting from a failure to follow product instructions or a failure to perform preventative maintenance to or parts replacement for your vehicle as suggested by the manufacturer in its maintenance schedule.
This limited warranty does not apply to the quality of the installation of a warranted product on your vehicle. It also does not apply to any problems with a warranted product caused by or relating to the actions or omissions of any contractor who performs work on your vehicle, including, for example, an installer of a warranted product. For example, this limited warranty would not cover problems with a warranted product resulting from such an installer's installation methods. Contractors are neither our employees nor our agents and they do not have the authority to alter or extend this limited warranty.
This agreement is a product warranty and not insurance.
NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND IS MADE UNLESS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN. WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY, AND INCAPABLE OF EXCLUSION UNDER, APPLICABLE LAW. How Long Does This Limited Warranty Last?
This limited warranty is good for up to five (5) years from your date of purchase. This limited warranty begins on the date of your proof of purchase, including, for example, your packing slip, invoice, or other receipt. The warranty period is not extended if we repair or replace a warranted product. We may change the availability of our limited warranties at our discretion, but any such changes will not be retroactive.
Automotive Candystore Paint Protection Film Limited Warranty
Automotive Candystore warrants to the original purchaser of the Paint Protection Film that, for a period of 45 days from the date of the install, the film will not crack, peel, break or change colors under normal driving conditions from sand, salt, stones, bugs, abrasions or ultraviolet rays from the sun. Automotive Candystore warranties apply only to original factory paint, repaints or touch-ups are not covered. The warranty does not apply to any damage caused by abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, modification or competition. This warranty is not additive to the 3M or Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film warranty.Limited Warranty
In no event will the liability of Automotive Candystore for any damages exceed the price paid for the Paint Protection Film and its installation, regardless of the claim. The Automotive Candystore Paint Protection Film Limited Warranty shall only apply when the product is installed by an authorized Automotive Candystore dealer in accordance with the directions provided by XPEL, 3M and Automotive Candystore. This limited warranty does not cover defects caused by modification, alteration, or repair of the XPEL or 3M Paint Protection Film product by anyone other than a certified XPEL or 3M installer authorized by Automotive Candystore.
Warranty Claims
Before Automotive Candystore will approve any claim you must give written notice of the claim to Automotive Candystore or their authorized dealer within seven days. You must permit Automotive Candystore to inspect the damage at their Facility.
Claim Remedies
In the event Automotive Candystore receives timely notice of a proper claim which is the approved by Automotive Candystore. At its option, Automotive Candystore will either repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the damaged application less the labor component at the sole discreption of Automotive Candystore. These remedies constitute the sole and exclusive remedies available to the purchaser.
